Rainforest Vista in Unreal 5

For this post I wanted to do another love letter to another type of forest. This time it’s with a forest I’ve only spent a limited time with personally only a handful of days in my life when I was lucky enough to travel there. So I had to delve into collecting reference and video of the plants and animals that make up this biome as well as reflect on my limited memories.

I Also wanted to go back to creating a series of collections of trees, bushes, and ground assets in order to have a flexible kit to assemble any number of forest scenes quickly and easily, rather than having an elaborate foliage painting setup.

Also this was an opportunity to re work the attempts at the bird animation setups I had made a year earlier and fix and polish them a fair bit. :)
