Ghost of Tsushima: World and Waterfall Shots

I had the honor of being a part of world terrain team for Ghost of Tsushima, along with:

John Germann: lead artist

Blake Mead: https://www.artstation.com/blakeovitch

Phil Ouelette: https://www.artstation.com/filboticus

As part of the world team, I shared the large scale responsibility of sculpting the terrain and authoring custom cliffs and rock arrangements. We gave special attention to make sure our terrain work complemented the procedural foliage and man-made locations throughout the island .This work also included rivers, streams, and waterfalls. I learned so much with this process of moving through a play space and getting the balance of fun gameplay and appealing visual presentation.

Shout out to the foliage team for their stunning work on our terrain!

To everybody at Sucker Punch: It was a privilege working with so many amazing, kind, and astoundingly talented creative people across many disciplines to take this abstract concept of an island and craft such a beautifully rich world that people can explore and lose themselves in. I am so proud of this incredibly special experience we created together!
